A beef with Blogger

So, to keep a long story fairly short, here is an explanation of my absence from Blogger for the last little while. Even if you didn't notice, I'm still explaining.
Originally, I signed up for Blogger using my email and password through the USU website, which is linked to Google. A few months ago when I went to log in using said email and password, it said I didn't exist and tried to make a new account for me. Thanks, but no Blogger. So after periodically attempting both a password and username recovery, and struggling with it about once a week or so, I said "forget it". Although, part of me is a Type A personality, and I couldn't forget it. So once a week for the last month or so, I've still been trying to get into Blogger, and still not succeeding. And I would leave my computer, looking for something so smash, or crush, or chop into really little pieces. (Don't worry, this abusive tendency was for the most part carried out on ingredients of my dinner, which has been pretty darn good lately. That or I'd either vacuum the tar out of my apartment, or scrub something really dirty.)
Finally today, I got a breakthrough! It didn't let me in, but sent me to a familiar page saying I needed to use something besides a temp account (which the USU email system is considered), and should set up a real account through another e-mail. Voila! Michael and I now are the proud owners of a joint email on gmail, and I can get into my blog! And I have no urge to smash anything!
So here are some things for those of you reading this:
1) If you used a temporary account to set up your Blog, please follow that page one time and set it up through a real e-mail, while you have the chance, before Blogger tries to eat your blog and your email and your password.
2) There will be more posts in rapid succession to this one! Things you can look forward to include:
  • Announcements and such from the Engh's (Including more on Baby Engh for those of you that didn't already know), including pictures of us from this summer.
  • Lots on nesting
  • September is National Sewing month, and I've sewn lots and have lots to show! Yay!

  1. Also, opinions on whether or not I should leave the background transparent. Any thoughts?
