Airplane Baby Shower

So a little while ago, I had a chance to throw a baby shower for my sister -in-law. And because they are expecting a boy, and my brother is currently going to school to get his pilots license, it seemed obvious to make the whole thing airplane themed! After making that decision, I went on a hunt across the universe (and Pinterest) looking for cute airplane ideas. And after finding lots and lots of stuff, I decided to be super ambitious/thrifty and come up with my own printables, combining things that I found from all over. And because I'm feeling super generous, I've decided to share them will y'all. Free of charge. So eat your little hearts out. And maybe go buy some more colored ink.

I did also manage to get a few pictures before the party started, although they didn't turn out particularly great. So I will post those, and for the things I don't have actual copies of, I will try to link to for your benefit. The things that I made on my own, I tried to do in pretty separate PDFs, so you can just download what you want piece by piece. As always, enjoy and let me know what you think!
This is the invite that I sent out to family and friends, minus the smudges obviously.
Just for all of you, I did a generic version of this cute invite.  The printable has two invites per page, which when cut down will fit in a 4 3/4"x 6 1/2" (or Social) envelope. You can find them in pretty much any paper section of a store with other regular envelops.

Main table set up
Above the table. I really should have hung the clouds and airplanes much lower!
I put the signs up for pretty much everything. Baggage drop =place to put gifts. Baggage claim= party favors. Also, because I know some of you will probably wonder and/or ask, I used this recipe for the blue punch, from Mrs. Happy Homemaker. It was delicious, and ironically I learned that some jet fuel is actually blue. Bonus points to me! For the In-flight snacks I put filled 5oz. Dixie cups with either honey-roasted peanuts or original Chex mix.

The poem in the back on the left-hand side of the table, I couldn't find a link to print out anywhere. So I made my own version of that too! It's from and unknown author (which I forgot to mention on the actual document) and sized so that if you print it on a 8.5x11 piece of paper, it cuts down to fit in a 5x7 frame. Click here for the poem!

The banner is pretty self-explanatory (shown in the top picture along the front of the table). I punched regular sized holes on the opposite side of each circle, then strung all of them on some flat curling ribbon that was all matchy-matchy with everything else. I believe I made one extra airplane on the PDF, so don't let that throw you off!

The candy bar wrappers, aren't actual wrappers. Sorry if that is misleading. However, you have two options really to use them. 1) Print, cut, tape on the back, and stick them straight on the top of candy bar as I did; or 2) Print, cut, adhere to scrapbook paper, use the paper to actually wrap the bars. This is what I had originally intended to do, but then I and Miss E. were sick all week, and I just ran out of time. Either way, they are still cute. The tags are meant to be sized to fit a small favor/favor bag.

Additionally, for the clouds hanging in the background, I found this link over to petite comeaux for a paper cloud mobile. I just re-sized the large image to make the smaller ones.  For the airplanes, I just made up my own. I found a silhouette of an airplane that I liked, then imagined what it would look like with wings and went from there. If you all are really interested, I can figure out a way to share it.

Happy Monday to you all! Please let me know if any of the documents or links aren't pulling up as expected! It's probably an error on my part, not you!
